The accommodation at High Leigh can be considered quite basic and, unless you are in an en-suite, the toilets and bathrooms are shared.
Please bring day, and night clothes, suitable for a chilly and wet, or sunny and hot, April (the weekend has been known to be both over the same three day period).
Towels and bedding are provided. Some regular visitors have found a hot water bottle can sometimes be handy. Some also find a torch or bedside lamp useful as there is only overhead lighting in many of the rooms which can make it tricky, especially if you are sharing with small children.
Food is provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner time and biscuits and cake are made available at morning and afternoon break times. There are hot drink making facilities near bedrooms and in the canteen. There is also a bar in the evenings. A small shop (open at different points during the day) also carries snacks and items useful to visitors who may require toiletries or stationery etc. Hoddeson town centre is less than a mile away which has an array of shops and a train station.
Information on how to get to the High Leigh Conference Centre (Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 8SG) can be found on their website.
